Ulaanbaatar, October 13, 2023 /MONTSAME/. The President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, who is paying a State Visit to the French Republic, was officially welcomed by French President Emmanuel Macron at the the Élysée Palace.
President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa was greeted by the Head of the Guard of Honor of the President of France and a march was performed by a brass band.
The Élysée Palace, or the Presidential Palace of France, is the residence where the President carries out his day-to-day duties and is the symbol of the French Republic.
The Cabinet meeting is held every Wednesday in the Salon Murat at the Élysée Palace, and every year on July 14, France’s National Day, a ceremony is held outside the Palace to commemorate the anniversary of the French Revolution. Traditionally representatives of high-ranking officials of other countries are received by the President of France at the Élysée Palace.
